This photo is taken from my Boruca family's house. I really liked the way they lived and I tried to go there with no expectations, but I still felt surprised when seeing the inside of this house with a tv and radio playing popular music from the States.

The Witch Tree

It was kind of amazing how I found this tree. I had gotten separated from the group and then this dog that had followed us around led me through this random trail until I heard the voice of a man and walked into this giant tree.

Culture

I like this photo because of the stillness of the bull in the front sitting and waiting for its prey. And in the background there is this sense of nervous huddling and waiting for the bull to move again.
