- Formerly known as Friends World, Global College, headquartered at Long Island University’s Brooklyn Campus, offers students the opportunity to pursue both cross-cultural and global learning in locations corresponding to the dominant regions in today’s global economy including Latin American, India and China. Our contemporary cutting edge curriculum encompasses first year seminars, learning communities, collaborative assignments/projects, service learning, internships and capstone projects. Students engage in a series of unique experiences, both inside and outside the classroom, spending three and a half years abroad gaining multiple perspectives on contemporary issues and, most importantly, contributing to positive global change.
