This first photos was taken in the Amazon of Ecuador on an academic field trip. Our indigenous leaders used a natural berry to pain the students' faces with traditional symbols. Oh yea, and hurray for rubber boots!This second photo was taken on an academic field trip to southern Costa Rica and the country of Panama at an Eco-Friendly "hotel" in the South-West of Costa Rica in the Corcovado Peninsula. The students stayed in electricity-free tents while we learned about Marine Biology, oceanic changes, environmental changes and local efforts to save the whales, dolphins and rain forest.
